Dawat at the Mausoleum of Imam Ali Al- Reza (Peace Be Upon Him)
Alhumdullilah, By the grace of God, we have always been one of the blessed people who have had the opportunity to dine in the mausoleum of Imam Ali Al-Reza (Peace be upon Him) in Mashhad Al- Muqaddasa. Also famously known as DastarKhwan-e-Imam Reza, it is a diner built into the premises of the Mausoleum, that serves food; once per pilgrim– as a gesture of welcoming or “mehman-nawazi” from the side of Imam Ali Al-Reza (Peace be upon him)
The servers of the diner are Khadim-e-Haram, who treat you no less than a five-star service and serve you food consisting of traditional bread, rice, curd, and gravy. Like any diner, you can ask for packing your remaining food up to carry it with you back to the hotel.

Many Zaereen takes this food back to their home country for their loved ones who were left behind to have a bite. This diner is the source of the salt widely available in almost every Shi’i household i.e the Salt from Imam Reza(Peace be upon him)’s haram.
It is an amazing experience to have food at this diner, not only is the food delicious but the feeling that you are a guest of none else than Imam Ali Al- Reza is something that puts the mind in awe. Indeed, the generosity and bestowing bounties of Ahl-Al-Bayt (Peace be Upon Them) exists even today.
Lecture on Marefat of Imam Wali al- Asr (ATFS)
A very enlightening lecture was conducted on the Marefat of Imam-e-Zamana (May Allah Hasten His Reappearance) by a renowned lecturer of the community at Hotel Noor in Mashhad Al-Muqaddasa.
The lecture gave an in-depth knowledge on how we as Zaer and Shi’a of Ahl-Al-Bayt must be better at our religious duties and many things we can and must do to serve the Imam(a.s) of our time.
